Two killed and six injured in Bara after soil collapses while digging

Bara: Two people have been killed and six others injured when soil collapsed while they were digging at Simraungadh Municipality–6 of Bara, this morning.

The victims, 70-year-old Sharada Devi Mahato and 15-year-old Sunil Mahato of Municipality, died on the way to the hospital after being rescued.

Police said the injured are receiving treatment in local hospitals and are reported to be in stable condition.

Rescue efforts were carried out with the help of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and local residents.
