Communication Minister Kharel: Government committed to holding elections on March 5
October 8, Kathmandu: Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel stated that the current government, built on the “GenZ” movement, aims to hold House of Representatives elections on March 5, 2026, with all political parties and the public’s participation.
During a visit to the National News Agency (RSS)’s Bhadrakali office, he urged stakeholders to create an electoral environment, reiterating Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s commitment.
Minister Kharel expressed confidence in the media’s support, saying, “This government, formed from the GenZ movement and public will, is committed to elections, good governance, anti-corruption, and addressing movement-related losses and disaster relief.”
