11:53 am-auspicious time for Dashain tika

Kathmandu, Sept 16: The Nepal Calendar Determination Development Committee has made public the auspicious time of this year’s Vijaya Dashami.

Committee Chairperson Prof Shambhu Prasad Dhakal told RSS that the most auspicious time for the tika of the Dashain festival this year is at 11:53 am on October 2. This year’s Dashain festival begins on September 22. The auspicious time for Ghatasthapana, the first day of the Dashain festival, is at 9:30 am on September 22.

A press release issued by the Committee on Tuesday mentioned that Phulpati falls on September 29, Mahaastami on September 30 and Mahanawami on October 1. Similarly, Kojagrat purnima, the final day of the festival, falls on October 6.
