Nepal defeated by Thailand

Kathmandu: Nepal lost to Thailand in an international friendly women’s football match.

In the match held earlier today at the Thammasat Stadium in Pathum Thani, Thailand, Nepal was defeated by the home team Thailand by a score of 2-0. The first half had ended in a goalless draw.

But Thailand scored the first goal in the 59th minute of the match, through Chatchawan Rodthong.

Similarly, the second goal was scored in the 74th minute by Thai captain Jirapuran Mongkoldi.

Also on Friday, Nepal lost to Thailand by a score of 1-0. Nepal is playing friendly matches against Thailand in preparation for the Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers to be held in Uzbekistan from June 29.
