Former President Bhandari returns from China visit

June 2, Kathmandu: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari returned to Nepal on Monday after completing a 10-day visit to China. Speaking briefly upon her arrival, she described the visit as productive.

Industry, Commerce, and Supplies Minister Damodar Bhandari, who was part of the delegation, expressed confidence that the visit would further strengthen Nepal-China relations. Addressing a press conference at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday, Minister Bhandari highlighted that high-level meetings during the visit reinforced the historic ties, mutual understanding, and implementation of prior agreements between the two nations.

The delegation, led by Former President Bhandari, held discussions with China’s Vice President, the Vice-Chair of the National People’s Congress, the head of the  Communist Party of China’s Foreign Department, and other senior leaders.
