Vice President Yadav attends Israel Embassy’s reception
Kathmandu, May 16: The Embassy of Israel in Nepal celebrated the 77th Independence Day of Israel and the 65th Diplomatic Relations between Nepal and Israel on Thursday evening in Kathmandu.
Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav attended the reception.
Likewise, Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Shmulik Arie Bass, Deputy Prime and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Education Minister Raghuji Pant, Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives Indira Ranamagar, high-ranking government officials, political leaders, members of the diplomatic corps in Kathmandu, and others joined the celebration, according to the statement released by the Embassy of Israel.
On the occasion, the Israeli Ambassador stated that the strength of Israel lies in the unity, innovation and spirit of the Israeli people. He said, “Together with Nepal, we are committed to improving the reality for a better future for all.”
He said Israel and Nepal have enjoyed stable and friendly relations, cooperating in education, agriculture, health, infrastructure, water resources, rural development, and security among other topics.
