Madhesh should be at forefront of safeguarding federal democratic republic: PM Oli

April 8, Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has addressed the Madhesh Province Assembly.

Addressing the assembly in Province’s capital, Janakpurdham on Tuesday, PM Oli said that Madhesh played a pivotal role in all the political changes in the country, and it should be at the forefront of safeguarding the federal democratic republic.

The PM said eradicating absolute poverty and bringing tangible changes in people’s lives should be the main priorities of all three tiers of government.

PM Oli also said that only effective service delivery and good governance would strengthen democracy.

The PM also lauded the Madesh Province’s “Feed the Nation Campaign”.
