Bilateral meeting between Foreign Minister Dr. Deuba and Indian External Affairs Minister

Kathmandu, March 18: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar held a bilateral meeting in New Delhi today.

Minister Dr Deuba, who is in New Delhi to participate in the ‘Raisina Dialogue’ program organized by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, met with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr Jaishankar today.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues related to the historical bilateral relations between Nepal and India, common interests and mutual benefits between the two countries.

On that occasion, Minister Dr. Deuba said that Nepal has been giving high importance to its relations with India and that Nepal is always willing to cooperate with India for the common interests of both countries in the coming days, according to Minister Deuba’s secretariat.

During the meeting, discussions were held on recent bilateral meetings, exchange of visits, and mutual cooperation between Nepal and India, as well as progress made in the areas of trade transit and water resource development between the two countries.
