‘Respect to Labour- Campaign of Nation’ in Namobuddha

 

Kavrepalanchowk, March 10: The ‘Respect to Labor—Campaign of Nation’ has been put in place in the Namobuddha municipality of Kavrepalanchowk under the Prime Minister Employment Program.

 

As part of the program, the municipality has conducted orientation for the local users’ committees besides regular monitoring of the schemes. The Municipal Employment Service Center has imparted information and orientation on the Prime Minister’s Employment Program and application process to be registered in the list of unemployed individuals.

 

The coordinator of the Centre, Amrit Khanal, shared that the program was organized in all 11 wards with the participation of local people’s representatives, civil society, ward committee, local directive committee, and other stakeholders of the municipality.

 

According to Khanal, training on plumbing and carpentry will be conducted from March 15 for those included in the 40 unemployed list after selecting training providers for conducting workplace-based skill development training.

 

Earlier, 65 unemployed people were provided 100 days of employment through ward-wise schemes in partnership with different wards of the municipality, the Centre informed. —RSS
