Kathmandu District Court orders to release Lamichhane on bail

Kathmandu: The District Court Kathmandu has ordered to release of Rabi Lamichhane, on bail of Rs 6 million regarding a cooperative scam.

A single bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari issued the order. A case was filed against Lamichhane over the misappropriation of savings of Swarnalaxmi Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

On behalf of Lamichhane, senior advocates– Sushil Panta and Raman Shrestha had debated the case.
