Investment Board Nepal approves investment for various hydropower projects; including Budhigandaki
Kathmandu: The Investment Board Nepal has approved the investment for various hydropower projects, including the Budhigandaki Hydropower project.
The meeting, held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today, decided to approve the investment of 70 billion rupees for Budhhigandaki Hydro, 23.59 billion rupees for the Jagdulla semi-reservoir-based hydropower project, and 47.54 billion rupees for Chainpur-Seti hydropower project.
Prime Minister Oli instructed the concerned authorities to work in a collaborative way to create a favourable environment for investment in the nation.
The meeting also decided to increase the capacity of the West Seti Hydropower project from 750 to 800 Megawatt.
