Province Chief suggests reconsideration of bills

Lumbini: The Chief of Lumbini Province has returned two bills to the Province Assembly without authentication.

Province Chief Krishna Bahadur Gharti sent back the bills with a message to the Chair of the Province Assembly for reconsideration.

The bills sent back to the Province Assembly are a Bill designed to amend the Province Civil Service Act, 2080; a Bill designed to manage the formation, operation and terms of reference of the local level civil service.

Secretary at Office of the Province Chief, Bed Prasad Kharel, shared this information by issuing a press statement on Wednesday.

The bills were returned to the Province Assembly as per Article 201 (3) of the Constitution.
