UN Internet Governance Forum to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in December
August 31, Kathmandu: Saudi Arabia is set to host the 19th United Nations Internet Governance Forum in Riyadh from December 15 to 19.
The theme of the five-day event will be “Building our Multistakeholder Digital Future,” and it aims to gather over 10,000 participants from 160 countries, including more than 1,000 international speakers.
The forum, established in 2006, focuses on understanding how to maximize digital opportunities and address digital risks and challenges.
This year the event will emphasize harnessing innovation, balancing risks, advancing human rights and inclusion in the digital age, contributing to peace, development, and sustainability, and improving digital governance for the Internet.
