Radio Nepal bids farewell to its Executive Director KC
Kathmandu: Radio Nepal today bade farewell to its Executive Director Buddhi Bahadur KC upon completion of his four year tenure.

In the farewell ceremony held at Radio Nepal’s Central Broadcasting Office, Sinha Durbar, Executive Director KC recalled the significant achievements in the field of improving broadcast content and expanding broadcast reach during his tenure.

Executive Director KC shared that the broadcast coverage of Radio Nepal increased from 85 percent to 94 percent of the population during his tenure and that Radio Nepal can be listened to online, through social media and apps.

Executive Director KC also expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology for helping to make the policies, plans and programs undertaken by Radio Nepal a success.
On the occasion, Deputy Executive Director Khagendra Khatri mentioned that during Executive Director KC’s tenure, Radio Nepal’s historical documents and records were systematically archived for preservation.

Similarly, another Deputy Executive Director of Radio Nepal, Krishnachandra Paudel, said that Radio Nepal achieved important achievements during his tenure due to the coordinating ability of Executive Director KC to take everyone along.

Tilakjung Budhathoki, a member of the Radio Nepal Board of Directors, said that he considered Executive KC to be a person who is free from prejudice and can work continuously in the workplace.

Likewise, Radio Nepal division chiefs Pushkar Raj Gautam, Pawan Kumar Pyakurel, Tara Prasad Vasti, Manoj Kumar Chaudhary and other speakers discussed that Executive Director KC is a studious, diligent and coordinating personality and viewed that Radio Nepal achieved significant achievements during his four-year tenure.

The executive director KC, who spent his 31 years of service in Radio Nepal, entered the service of Radio Nepal in 2049 BS, and the Cabinet meeting in 2077 BS appointed him to the post of Deputy Executive Director of Radio Nepal.
