Body of one more Nepali student brought from Israel

October 26, Kathmandu: The body of Ganesh Kumar Nepali, one of the ten Nepali students killed in a Hamas attack in Israel on October 7, has been repatriated to Nepal.

This brings the total number of bodies returned to five, with the remaining expected soon after DNA verification, according to Sharad Raj Aran, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The students were in Israel under the ‘Learn and Earn’ program of the Far-Western University.

One student, Bipin Joshi from Kanchanpur district, remains missing since the attack. A rescue team led by Foreign Affairs Minister Narayan Prakash Saud previously evacuated 254 students from Israel.
