Final preparation for Hajj Travel-2023 underway, reports Nepal Hajj Committee

May 27, Kathmandu: In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Hajj Travel-2023, the Nepal Hajj Committee has announced that preparations have entered their final stage.

The committee, entrusted with the management of Hajj travel, has undertaken the responsibility for this year’s pilgrimage. Makabul Minya (Sah), the Chairperson of the Committee, disclosed that a total of 1,092 individuals have been selected to embark on the sacred journey.

The Hajj pilgrims, set to depart for Saudi Arabia, have been assigned specific travel dates, namely May 30, 31, June 1, 3, 4, and 5.

This scheduling ensures an organized and smooth operation for the pilgrimage.

Upon receiving requests from the Home Ministry and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, the Committee, under the leadership of Sah, accepted the responsibility for the management of Hajj travel.

Notably, this marks the second consecutive year that the Committee, operating under the Home Ministry, has been entrusted with the arrangement of Hajj pilgrims, following their successful endeavours in 2022. With the final stage of preparation well underway, eager pilgrims can look forward to a spiritually enriching and memorable Hajj experience in 2023.
