Health Minister Mehta, Japanese Ambassador MAEDA discuss expanding healthcare cooperation

KATHMANDU — Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta held a courtesy meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, MAEDA Toru, at the ministry today.

The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral health sector cooperation, with Minister Mehta acknowledging Japan’s long-standing institutional support to major medical facilities including Bir Hospital, Paropakar Maternity Hospital, and Kanti Children’s Hospital.
