HoR meeting scheduled for 1pm today

Kathmandu, Sept 30: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to take place at 1pm today at the Federal Parliament building in Singha Durbar.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam will present proposals to send three bills to the respective committees for clause-wise deliberation.

The bills include the Reconciliation (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS, the Nepal Law Commission (First Amendment) Bill, 2083 BS, and the Free Legal Aid Bill, 2083 BS.

Similarly, Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Geeta Chaudhary will propose sending the Infectious Animal Diseases (Control) Bill, 2083 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion. The bill was introduced in the National Assembly.

Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun is scheduled to table a proposal seeking passage of the National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2083 BS.

Meanwhile, meetings of the Finance Committee, Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee, and Legislative Management Committee are also scheduled for today.
