Minister Dr Timilsina meets floods survivors at TUTH

Kathmandu: House of Representatives (HoR) member elected from Nuwakot constituency-1 and Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timlisina, visited the Maharajgunj-based TU Teaching Hospital on Friday.

He met the people undergoing treatment in the hospital after being rescued from the floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river systems on August 26.

The Minister took stock of the health condition of the injured, treatment facilities arranged for them and the hospital’s overall management.

According to the hospital source, 29 out of 78 brought to the hospital following their rescues are undergoing treatment while others have already been discharged.

The hospital officials briefed the Minister that there were no difficulties and challenges to treatment of the injured persons.
