Efforts on to conduct rescue in Upper Trishuli-III ‘A’; breakthrough in intake
Kathmandu: The Nepali Army (NA) is transporting rescue equipment like excavator and dozer in a bid to rescue those trapped inside the Upper Trishuli-III Hydropower Project located in Nuwakot district.

The heavy equipment are ferried by the NA helicopter and now reached Battar of Nuwakot.
The NA shared information that it has been making untiring efforts for the rescue of the flood-hit people.
Breakthrough in tunnel intake Irrespective of huge rainfall last night, NA continued rescue works to open a passage to the blocked tunnel. It has realized a breakthrough in the intake recently and begun the search for and rescue of those trapped inside the project tunnel, according to NA.
