PM Shah offers prayers at Muktinath Temple in Mustang
Mustang, Aug 22: Prime Minister Balendra Shah paid a visit to the revered Muktinath Temple in Mustang on Saturday evening and offered prayers at the Hindu shrine.
According to the Mustang District Police Office, Prime Minister Shah returned to Jomsom after worshipping at the temple. Information Officer of Mustang Police Santosh Basyal confirmed the visit.
Shah reached Jomsom at around 3:00 pm on Saturday, travelling via the Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom road. He had left Kathmandu on Friday for a family visit.
Muktinath Development Committee Manager Dinesh Bhusal said the Prime Minister entered the temple at around 7:30 pm and spent approximately 30 minutes offering prayers.
During the visit, Shah received tika and prasad from temple priest Krishna Prasad Subedi.
The Prime Minister is staying overnight at a hotel in Gharapjhong Rural Municipality-3, Mustang.
