Formal talks begin between government and Citizen Protection Campaign

Kathmandu: Formal talks have begun between the Government of Nepal and the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture and Citizen Protection Campaign, Nepal from today.

The talks have begun at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar to address the demands raised by the campaign, shared the Prime Minister’s Press and Research Expert Deepa Dahal.

A negotiation team was formed on behalf of the Government of Nepal under the coordination of Joint Secretary Leeladhar Subedi, including Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Ananda Kafle, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Mahesh Acharya, and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Dilaram Panthi.

As per the call of the Government of Nepal, the campaign led by Durga Prasai has sent a nine-member negotiation team under the coordination of Bishnu Bohara Chhetri.
