UML committed to rights of indigenous communities: Oli

Ilam, Aug. 15: CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli said his party was firm to provide rights to the indigenous communities as ensured in the constitution.

Addressing a central committee meeting of the party’s organization of indigenous communities in Fikkal of Ilam on Saturday, Oli said UML is always committed to protecting and promoting rights, languages, cultures and traditions of indigenous communities.

“National unity should be further strengthened by promoting co-existence of all,” Oli viewed.  

Oli claimed that his party was advocating for inclusive democracy, social justice and equal opportunities to all since past.
