HoR meeting scheduled for 1pm today

Kathmandu, Aug 11: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to take place at 1pm today.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will consider a proposal seeking deliberation on the Bill Relating to Mines and Minerals, 2083. Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav is scheduled to present the proposal before the House.

Two parliamentary committee meetings are also scheduled for today.

The Public Accounts Committee will meet at 11am to discuss the September 8–9 protests and the burning of documents during the demonstrations.

Meanwhile, the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance will also meet at 11am to discuss matters related to the digital economy.
