Chair Dahal directs to regularly present progress on monsoon-disaster preparedness

Kathmandu: National Assembly Chairperson, Narayan Prasad Dahal, has directed the government to emphatically implement the issues stated in the attention proposal concerning the government’s early preparedness for monsoon-induced disaster management.

Declaring unanimous passage of the proposal in today’s meeting of the National Assembly, Chair Dahal instructed the government to present implementation progress reports on mid-December (end of Mangsir) and mid-July (end of Asar) in every fiscal year.

Similarly, he also asked the concerned thematic committee under the NA to monitor implementation of the issues highlighted in the proposal.
