EU Ambassador Lorenzo calls on Speaker Aryal

Kathmandu: EU Ambassador to Nepal, Veronique Lorenzo, paid a farewell courtesy call on Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal today.

During the meeting held at the Speaker’s office at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Singha Durbar, matters related to Nepal-EU relations, parliamentary cooperation, economic partnership, development cooperation and various issues of mutual interest were discussed, according to the Speaker’s personal secretariat.

Ambassador Lorenzo, on the occasion, expressed gratitude for the support and goodwill received from the Government of Nepal, the Federal Parliament and the Nepali people during her tenure in Nepal and expressed the belief that the friendly relations between Nepal and the European Union will continue to strengthen in the coming days.
