Dialogue between Home Minister Gurung, family of deceased Mehta underway

Kathmandu: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is holding a dialogue with the family of Rabindra Mehta.

The meeting is underway at Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. Rabindra, 22, who was injured on July 26 in the Kaptanganj incident of Sunsari district, died today in the course of treatment.

Earlier, Home Minister Gurung held separate meetings with leaders of Hindu and Muslim communities today itself.

A discussion was held on various issues, including the situation, dispute surfaced in different places of the country, law and order and mutual harmony during the separate meetings held at the Home Ministry, according to Minister Gurung’s Secretariat.
