House adjourned again as ruling RSP convention drags on

June 26, Kathmandu: The scheduled meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) was adjourned once again on Friday, following prolonged delays at the ongoing general convention of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Chitwan.
The meeting, which had been rescheduled for 1:00 PM today, was deferred via an official notice issued by Padma Prasad Pandey, the Secretary-General of the Federal Parliament. The notification cited “special reasons” for the postponement.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the next session of the lower house has now been slated for Saturday morning at 11:00 AM.
