Embassy of Nepal invites Indian influencers for tourism promotion visit

May 20, Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi has called for applications from Indian social media influencers, vloggers, podcasters and digital content creators for a familiarisation trip aimed at promoting Nepal’s tourism in the Indian market.
In a notice, the embassy said five Indian influencers or vloggers will be selected for the visit to experience and showcase Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, spiritual destinations and hospitality through digital platforms.
The initiative is expected to generate engaging digital content and encourage more Indian tourists to visit Nepal for leisure, pilgrimage, adventure, wellness and family travel.
According to the embassy, the program will highlight Nepal’s mountains, lakes, heritage sites, temples, festivals, cuisine and local culture while strengthening Nepal’s image as a close, accessible and welcoming destination for Indian travellers.
Eligible applicants must be Indian nationals or India-based creators with an active presence on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X. Preference will be given to creators producing content related to travel, culture, spirituality, lifestyle, food and tourism with a strong and engaged audience base.
Selected participants will be required to produce travel vlogs, reels, shorts, stories, podcasts and other digital content based on their experiences in Nepal while following responsible tourism and cultural sensitivity guidelines.
