HoR begins deliberations on government’s policies and programmes
Kathmandu: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) that began today resumed deliberations on the government’s annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 BS.
At the meeting, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal informed the House that 35 notices of amendment were received.
Currently, the HoR Members are putting forth their views on the amendment proposals.
President Ramchandra Paudel had tabled the government’s policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year at a joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Monday.
In today’s meeting, Speaker Aryal instructed the MPs not to use unparliamentary language and consider parliamentary propriety while making statements.
“I ask all MPs to be sensitive to the issues stated in Rule 21 (4) of the HoR Regulations,” he said, while ruling the MPs not to use indecent, defamatory and disrespectful words.
Likewise, Speaker Aryal directed the HoR Secretariat to omit some unparliamentary words used by MP Ganesh Parajuli that he used in his speech at the HoR meeting held on May 12. RSS
