Janakpurdham Hosts First-Ever Judicial Fair

Janakpurdham, May 9: A Judicial Fair has been organised in Janakpurdham of Madhesh Province for the first time, aiming to promote transparency and improve public access to judicial services.

Officiating Chief Judge of the High Court, Janakpur, Tek Narayan Kunwar, said the fair is designed to make court services more effective, transparent, and citizen-friendly. According to him, the event highlights the court’s progress, case disposal status, and overall service delivery system.

The fair has been organised to provide the public with detailed information on court functioning, case management, disposal of old cases, and judicial procedures. It also serves as a platform to increase awareness about legal processes and services.

Kunwar said efforts are being made to ensure prompt, impartial, and effective justice delivery to strengthen public trust in the judiciary.

He added that the fair acts as a bridge between the judiciary and citizens by making information on court services, legal aid, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and citizens’ rights more accessible.
