Mahesh–Dhapung–Tarakhola road section upgraded in Myagdi

Myagdi, April 24: The Mahesh–Dhapung–Tarakhola road section in Myagdi district has been completed, according to the District Infrastructure Development Office.

The road, which was opened around 16 years ago, had remained in poor condition due to a lack of regular maintenance. The 3-kilometre stretch from Pakhare in Mangala Rural Municipality–3 to Aldanda has now been upgraded with gravel and concrete works.

Chief of the Office, Mahendra Baniya, said the total cost of the project stood at Rs 58.6 million.

The upgraded road is seven metres wide and includes drainage systems and protective structures, aimed at improving durability and ensuring smoother transportation in the area.
