Thapa Calls for Unity and Nation-Building on New Year 2083
Kathmandu, April 14: Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has called on all stakeholders to rise above partisan interests and focus on nation-building.
In his New Year 2083 BS message today, Thapa extended best wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness to all Nepalis. He said the time has come for collaboration and collective efforts for the country’s development.
He stressed that responsible behaviour from political parties and institutions is essential for achieving peace, cultural preservation, and economic prosperity.
Recalling past struggles and sacrifices made to reach the current political system, he said these achievements must be protected and strengthened through unity.
Thapa said the New Year is an opportunity to commit to economic growth and national progress, adding that it should inspire unity, fraternity, tolerance, and cooperation to further strengthen the federal democratic republic.
