New Year Should Promote Positivity and Unity: Vice President Yadav
Kathmandu, April 14: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has called for using the New Year as an opportunity to promote positive thinking, fraternity, and a healthy lifestyle.
In his message on the occasion of the New Year 2083 BS, the Vice President extended best wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness. He said the New Year should inspire discipline, stability, and optimism among citizens.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening social harmony, tolerance, and coexistence, while also encouraging a sense of cultural ownership of traditional calendars.
Vice President Yadav highlighted the need for national unity to address challenges related to the economy, health, environment, and climate change. He expressed confidence that collective efforts would help realise constitutional goals such as inclusive representation, good governance, and socialism, strengthening the federal democratic republic.
On the occasion, he also extended greetings for festivals including Judshital, Siruwa Pawani, and Biskajatra, describing them as symbols of Nepal’s cultural diversity that promote unity, tolerance, and social harmony.
