Three Universities Sign MoU for Academic Collaboration

Tribhuvan University, Madhya Paschim University, and Sudurpaschim University have signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration in study, research, and education. The signing took place at Sudurpaschim University in Mahendranagar on Wednesday, according to university information officer Nabin Bahadur Bam.
The MoU was signed by Sudurpaschim University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Hemraj Pant, Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Deepak Aryal, and Madhya Paschim University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Dhruv Kumar Gautam, in the presence of University Grants Commission Chair Prof. Dr Devraj Adhikari.
During the program, Sudurpaschim University Registrar Prof. Dr Binod Lekhak highlighted that the agreement would serve as a milestone in addressing the shortage of higher academic human resources by leveraging digital platforms. The universities plan to institutionalise the exchange of educational resources, research, technology, and professional expertise.
The collaboration will include initiatives such as joint classes, shared faculty, and collaborative research projects conducted through digital platforms. Officials said the partnership is expected to enhance the quality of higher education, optimise resource utilisation, and foster a modern, technology-driven academic environment.
