Malekhu–Muglin Road to Remain Closed at Night for Three Days
Malekhu (Dhading), March 30 — Vehicular movement along the Malekhu–Muglin section of the Prithvi Highway will be completely halted for six hours each night over the next three days, starting today.
The closure applies to the Ichhakamana stretch, where road upgrading works are currently underway under the Muglin–Nagdhunga Road Project. Construction activities are underway in areas such as Ghoptebhir within Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-4 in Chitwan.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Chiranjivi Sharma of the District Administration Office, Chitwan, all private and public vehicles will be restricted from operating between 10:00 pm and 4:00 am until April 2. However, essential services, including ambulances and fire engines, will be allowed to operate during the closure period.
