Madhes govt delivers key progress in first 100 days: CM Yadav

Janakpurdham, March 18: Chief Minister of Madhes Province Krishna Prasad Yadav has said his government has made notable progress within its first 100 days in office.

Speaking at a press meet on Tuesday while making public the government’s achievements, he said the administration had worked in line with public expectations in a short period.

According to him, improvements have been made in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure development and governance. He stated that hospitals have been strengthened with the required manpower and regular medicine supply, while efforts have been made to manage teachers and expand technical education in schools.

Yadav also highlighted support to farmers through grants, better access to chemical fertilisers, and irrigation facilities. He said infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges and drinking water schemes have been accelerated.

The Chief Minister added that the government has prioritised transparency and good governance by expanding digital systems. He further said skill-based training programmes have been introduced to promote self-employment.

Yadav expressed commitment to continue working effectively for the welfare of the people and the overall development of the province.
