NC President Thapa Meets PM Karki at Baluwatar

Kathmandu, March 15 — Gagan Kumar Thapa, President of the Nepali Congress (NC), met with Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Sunday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The NC delegation included the party’s Vice-Presidents Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Pushpa Bhusal. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal was also present during the meeting, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Karki thanked the Nepali Congress for its constructive support in ensuring the successful conduct of the March 5 election to the House of Representatives.

According to the Prime Minister’s press advisor, Ram Bahadur Rawal, the prime minister also encouraged NC leaders not to lose heart over the party’s defeat in the recent parliamentary elections.
