Qatar Airways resumes limited Kathmandu–Doha flights amid West Asia conflict

Kathmandu, March 15: Qatar Airways has scheduled limited flights from Tribhuvan International Airport to Doha, marking a partial resumption of services that were disrupted due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

The airline had suspended most of its scheduled operations after the closure of regional airspace triggered widespread disruption to global aviation.

According to a flight update shared by the copmany, the following Kathmandu–Doha services are currently scheduled and available for sale and reprotection of affected passengers:

QR645 —March 17: Kathmandu-Doha

QR649 — March 18: Kathmandu-Doha

QR645 — March 18: Kathmandu–Doha

The flights are intended for passengers travelling to Doha as their final destination.

Air travel across West Asia has faced major disruption in recent weeks due to escalating regional tensions, forcing several airlines to suspend or adjust services across the region.

The Kathmandu–Doha route is one of the busiest international sectors from Nepal, widely used by Nepali migrant workers and transit passengers connecting to Europe and other destinations.
