Six Killed in Microbus Accident in Gorkha
Gorkha, March 14: Six people died after a microbus carrying pilgrims met with an accident at Kantar in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality on Friday evening.
The vehicle, bearing registration number Ba Pra 01-006 Kha 8430, was transporting passengers who were returning after offering prayers at the revered Manakamana Temple.
According to Bharat Bahadur BK, chief of the District Police Office Gorkha, all six individuals who lost their lives in the accident were Indian nationals.
Police said preliminary information suggests that 13 passengers were travelling in the microbus at the time of the crash. Authorities are still collecting detailed information regarding the identities of the victims and the condition of those injured in the incident.
