IED Blast at Madhesh Law Firm in Siraha Injures One

Siraha, March 11 – An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated at Madhesh Law Firm, located in front of the District Court in Siraha, on Wednesday evening, injuring one person.

According to Ramesh Bahadur Pal, Information Officer at the District Police Office, the explosion occurred around 4:15 pm. Saurab Yadav, affiliated with the law firm run by Advocate Madhusudan Prasad Yadav, sustained injuries and was immediately taken to the provincial hospital for treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pal confirmed that a joint team of Nepal Police and the Nepali Army is at the scene. A bomb disposal unit from the Nepali Army has also arrived, and a thorough investigation is underway.
