Kathmandu, Mar. 9: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held telephone conversations with Rabi Lamichhane and Balendra Shah, congratulating them on their electoral victories and the strong performance of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Nepal’s parliamentary elections.
During the calls, Modi conveyed his best wishes for the party’s forthcoming government and reaffirmed India’s commitment to working with Nepal for mutual prosperity, progress and the well-being of the people of both countries.
