Acharya’s poetic anthology ‘Drapery of Time’ released

Kathmandu: Dr Pushpa Raj Acharya’s poetic anthology ‘Drapery of Time’ was released amidst a programme on Friday.

The Bajra Books – the publisher of the book – unveiled the literary creation in Kathmandu.

Literary writer Prof Dr Abhi Subedi and poet Tirtha Shrestha jointly released and reviewed the poetic anthology on the occasion.

Dr Subedi commented that Acharya’s creation has succinctly translated the inner feelings into poetic rhythms.

“Sweet reflections manifest when the poetry catches its rhythm and playfulness’, Subedi said, adding, Acharya’s creation is an amalgamation of excitement, gesture, experience, along with spiritual colour.

It is Acharya’s literary talent to present the complex subject matter in a lucid style. ‘His poetry is in rhythm’, Subedi added.

Likewise, poet Shrestha noted that Acharya’s poems have reflected literary maturity. “His creations are capable of retaining the attraction of both the young and adult generations”.

Publisher Bidur Dangol said that Acharya’s present anthology of poetry has immense potential in the English literary world. RSS
