Quake occurs in Taplejung

Kathmandu: An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale occurred in Taplejung district.

The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center stated that the earthquake happened at 2:47 this morning with its epicenter near the Kanchanjunga area in the district.

The earthquake was felt in the other districts of eastern Nepal, it is said. RSS
