Driver Dies in Electric Vehicle Accident in Baitadi

Dasarathchand, Baitadi, Feb 8 – A driver lost his life in a road accident on the Sillegada-Badiya road near Ghodhar last night.

The electric vehicle, bearing registration number Su.Pra. 02-001 Ja. 0624 was travelling from Khochlek to Kalagaun in Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-3 when it veered off the road and fell approximately 250 meters, according to the District Police Office.

The driver, Madan Thagunna of Dogadakedar-5, sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to them at Dadeldhura Hospital, said District Police spokesperson Baldev Badu.

Thagunna was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The police have confirmed that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
