Nepal Takes on England in T20 World Cup Today
Kathmandu, Feb 8 – Nepal will play against England today in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Cricket tournament, which kicked off in India and Sri Lanka on Saturday.
The match will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and is scheduled to begin at 3:15 pm Nepali Standard Time. This marks Nepal’s third appearance in the T20 World Cup.
In the previous two editions of the tournament, Nepal was eliminated in the group stage, including the 2024 World Cup held in the USA and the West Indies.
This will be the first-ever meeting between Nepal and England in T20 World Cup history. Nepal is currently ranked 16th in the ICC T20 rankings, while England sits in third place.
Nepal has been placed in Group C alongside England, West Indies, Italy, and Scotland.
