Today’s weather forecast: Light snow, rainfall likely in high hill and mountainous regions

Kathmandu: At present, there is an influence of the westerly winds in Nepal.

The hilly and mountainous regions in Sudurpashchim, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali Provinces see generally cloudy weather.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in a few places of Sudurpashchim Province. The weather remains mainly clear in the rest of the areas.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, this afternoon, clouds will generally cover the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country while other areas will experience partial cloudiness.

There is a possibility of light snowfall/rain in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the country.

The Division has also indicated a possibility of light rain in one or two places in the remaining areas of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces.

Tonight, the hilly and mountainous regions of the country will generally be cloudy, while other areas will be partly cloudy.

There is a chance of light snowfall/rain in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki and Karnali Province. RSS
