Former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba to Skip Upcoming HoR Elections

Kathmandu, Jan 20: Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has announced that he will not be contesting in the upcoming House of Representatives election.

Deuba, who has been elected from Dadeldhura in every election since 2048 BS, will not file his candidacy this time, according to a statement from his secretariat.

Nominations for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system of the March 5 elections are being registered today across the country.
