Balen reaches RSP office
Kathmandu: Balendra Shah, popularly known as Balen, who resigned as a mayor of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), assumed office as the senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on Sunday afternoon.
Shah, who tendered his resignation to KMC Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol on Sunday itself, officially assumed the position at RSP office, Banasthali.
Shah was sworn-in as the party’s senior leader at the office.
He is likely to file candidacy under first-past-the-post for the upcoming March 5 election to the House of Representatives.
