Kulman Ghising Appointed as Ujyalo Party Chair

Kathmandu: Ujyaalo Nepal Party has appointed Kulman Ghising as its chairperson.

The party’s central committee meeting, held at its central office in Tripureshwor, decided to appoint Ghising as the chairperson of the Party after unity talks with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) failed.

The meeting also accepted the resignation submitted by outgoing chairperson Anup Kumar Upadhyay.

Ujyaalo Nepal formally announced Ghising’s appointment at a press conference held at the party’s central office this evening. Speaking at the event, Chairperson Ghising said that consensus could not be reached even when he was ready to remain in the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) as an ordinary member. He accused RSP of unilaterally breaking the agreement.
